Thanks for coming to me with this! I looked into immediately, believing that it was against the rules to change large chunks of your application once it's been dropped. However, the only rule even close to coming to that is the one about deleting your application after it's been dropped [which is a no].
However, I know you were the first one to sort the applicant, even before the applicant was in the process of editing it. And since I only got a brief glimpse of the application while dropping it, I'll take your word on it [and why shouldn't I? I know you seemingly well enough to know you wouldn't lie and this is getting away from me]
ANYWAYS. I'll message or comment to the applicant [since I don't think I can message her] that she should try and not delete whole chunks, but edit, expand, etc if she finds something no longer completely true!
I hope this helps!

EDIT: Forgo to add this, but the next time i'm talking to one of the higher up mods, I'll bring this up!

As for your question in the message you sent me on my LJ -- you can, as long as you're doing it for the right reasons! If you do, explain your thought processes a little bit for help :)
